Industrial PCs with ATX motherboard for Intel® Core™2 Duo
or Core™2 Quad
The latest generation of Industrial PCs with ATX motherboard is equipped with Intel® Core™2 Duo 2.53 GHz or Core™2 Quad 2.26 processors. The CB1052 ATX motherboard from Beckhoff with a 64 bit Intel® GM45 chipset and one or two Ethernet interfaces can be upgraded up to 8 GB DDR3RAM. With 4 GB or above, a 64 bit Windows XP or Vista is required. The on-board RAID 1 controller mirrors two SATA hard disks, if space for the second hard disk is available inside the PC. Three PCI Express x1 slots, three PCI slots and a PCI Express x16 graphics slot are available. Optionally, there are DVD drives available, even for Blu-ray Disc™.
These top-performance PCs are ideally suited for machine construction and plant engineering applications, for example with the TwinCAT automation software under Windows XP, XP Embedded or Vista.
